The meeting between cultures today
more than ever is a theme at the center of attention. In this
case, it is the meeting between the West and the East
represented in their formal, symbolic and cultural
peculiarities. This meeting has already been studied in the
past: the designs of the carpets, in fact, are inspired by that
artistic style in Europe that from the seventeenth century was
characterized by a strong oriental artistic influence and that
will then be assimilated in the Rococo. This relationship
between the West and the East is therefore revisited in a modern
key, showing a balanced mix that presents the common
characteristics and underlines the singular features of both in
a balanced ecosystem between East and West with a design as well
as in content. Sakura flowers float on the water, reflecting and
multiplying on the geometric ripples of the water. The floral
figures overlap, intersect and hide with triangular geometric
shapes of multiple colors, enriching the coat in a balanced
