Calabria is a historical region,
of fundamental importance for the landing of the Greeks on their
coasts, which gave life to a culture mysticism, so as to earn
the name of Magna Graecia. The chair and bookshelf are inspired by the Ionian column, revisited in terms of current design. The part of the seat has a natural shape that recalls the waves of the sea and its movement, while the structural part of both the chair and the bookshelf recall the play of light and shadow the stem of the column, creating a play of full and empty, the light in fact that through the strips also reminds the sunbreakers on the other side of the world and of Japanese culture. On the seat there is also an armrest covered with the typical Calabrian fabric that goes with the wood color. Finally,the chair and bookshelf recall one of the history, culture and nature of Calabria.
